Accucadd users do not use RoboCAD drivers: all Accucadd printing and plotting is done through Windows drivers. Click here for information on Accucadd.

The drivers are self-expanding PKZIP files. Put the driver in a suitable directory, and when you are ready, just run the executeable (.EXE) program to expand it. You can use File Manager or Explorer, Program Manager| Run . . . | Browse . . . or the Start Button in Windows 95, 98, NT4, or later.

DOS users: change to the directory where you saved the demo, enter the executable name at the prompt, and press Enter.

The downloaded program will expand into the full set of driver files.
To use your drivers, select "Configure System" from the RoboCAD System Menu, and press a key to move to the next menu. Choose either "Select Plotter" or "Select Printer" as appropriate. From the displayed list choose "New driver" and you will see the following:

  Printer (or Plotter) driver path

  [A:\                                     ]

Enter the disk drive letter and directory containing your expanded drivers. Example: if you they are in c:\drivers you should type:

  C:\DRIVERS

and press the Enter key. You'll get a list of drivers, arranged by manufacturer. Choose the one you want.
