RoboCAD and Accucadd are ideally suited to education. There are a number of reasons for this.

	Our user interface is quick to learn and easy to remember.	You need that, especially when you have just one period a week, for only ten weeks, in which to teach CAD.
	RoboCAD and Accucadd are intuitive.	You don't spend time learning, forgetting, and re-learning commands. It works naturally, the way you expect it to.
	RoboCAD and Accucadd use a sheet of paper.	You are always drawing on a sheet of paper, so you always know what it is going to look like when you print or plot it.
	What does this mean?	You can spend your time teaching how to make real drawings with CAD, and not how to master the complexities of drawing a straight line using one particular system.
	Is this borne out in practice?	You bet! In a recent survey of all the secondary schools in Pennsylvania teaching CAD, over one half used one or more RoboCAD or Accucadd products.

RoboCAD 20 and Accucadd are full featured, industrial strength, CAD -- yet straightforward enough for students to quickly master. RoboSOLID 2 exposes students to Solids Modeling. More than 3-D, solids modeling creates a computer model of your object. You can weigh it and measure it, as well as view it from different directions. If you're not teaching solids modeling it's still a great idea to have RoboSOLID on about 20% of your CAD lab's computers, for the use of students who are ahead of their classmates.

TECAD and TECAD 32 are specifically designed for Technology Education. They are so easy to learn that you can use them in the sixth grade - and yet they provide real work and learning experiences. TEACD includes a ten period modular curriculum, with outcome-based goals. TECAD 32 adds two further periods for a total of twelve.

RoboMILL an ideal companion to RoboCAD, RoboMILL is specifically designed to provide an inexpensive and straightforward link from CAD to CAM. Show students how drawing geometry is converted to CNC control codes. See the operations in the four view, full 3-D display. Send the codes to a mill, and cut the part.
